Some early reviews of Whiskey and Wine

“What a fantastic and entertaining album. Its been years since I listened to an entire album and immediately wanted to hear it again....great stories! Wow on a lot of levels!!”

“This is simply beautiful, zestfully delightful, with emotion, love, and a collection of experiences and wise words.  Kristie’s sassiness and confidence comes through her particular songs. “And I Burn” right off is powerful and soulful- instrumentals are off the hook and I was sucked right into the musical tractor beam and the rest was amazing. “Its a Choice” would be my favorite because of the lesson of life and what happens is perspective.  I love your voice and vulnerability it shows because of the emotion you spoke about. It is the kryptonite of the album because it humbles the listener.  D loves Hellfire. Her favorite! “Hangover” and the Texas Swing vibe is one of my favorites. “Meet me in the Kitchen” is that Lyle Lovett storytellers spread-a “screwdriver dancing song.” “Wonder Woman” is a F*% You Girl Power song! “Movin’ On” is that song that takes you to that One Person- (good or bad) but relatable.  “Take a Look at Us” is the classic Kristie and Paul heartfelt Johnny and June love song“
